TMwalimu Towers is a 17-storied office and commercial development that boasts of 12,145SQM ample office space, conferencing facilities, a data centre, and a 3-level 6,150SQM area basement with 200 car parking spaces. The building serves as the Mwalimu National Sacco headquarters, helping to reinforce the core mission of the Society which is to Mobilize funds, Provide Credit and other financial services to its Members on Competitive terms. The building also has lettable space to bolster its revenue from the development
The building design adopted simplicity in its form, with an emphasis to modernism in architecture. Incorporation of various sustainable design interventions, such as a full building height atrium, recessed windows, solar performance glazing and sunshading, all ensure low maintenance and quality of space for the building occupants. Key focus was given to the floor plate design in order to realise maximum utility of space for the client and tenants. A centralized service core serves the building’s two wings, with common utilities for occupants of either wing. Provision of two wings ensured that the lettable spaces could be leased either through occupation of a full wing by a corporate client or partitioned into smaller units for smaller companies.
