Family Bank Fourways Branch was commissioned to Aaki Consultants by Family Bank Ltd. as part of its strategic country-wide development plan to reach the ordinary Kenyan’s banking needs. The branch was set up at Fourway Towers, currently Family Bank Towers; the Headquarters in Nairobi CBD at the junction of Muindi Mbingu and Moktar Dada Street.
The branch was developed within the bank’s trademark corporate themes by use of controlled but elegant play of modern day construction material. Being a ‘modern branch’ there was controlled use of LED lights which are not only efficient in energy saving and maintenance but also changed the ambience of the fairly spacious banking hall and credit section. The use of gypsum partition and frameless glass partition framed with hard wood varnished timber reduced the construction period and ultimately achieved the Client’s target of attracting and engaging in various kinds of business ventures. Fire safety was also taken care of by installation of new fire alarm panel and smoke detectors as it is required by law under OSHA act and also CBK standards. Security enhancements and ICT backbone were provided in order to link the bank to its country-wide banking network, enhancing the customer experience
